Anna Kouba has spent her life working with children. Before her teenage years she was already volunteering in children's Church and Vacation Bible School in her home country of Brazil. While in High School she acted as the president of her church's youth ministry and remained heavily involved in children's ministry.
After High School Anna studied for a year at Ozark Christian College where she received a Bible Knowledge certificate before heading back to Brazil to obtain her degree in Nursing. Anna moved to the United States in 2012 where she was employed by the Johnson County Montessori school in Overland Park-Kansas for three years. In January 2016, Anna married Jared Kouba and joined him in El Dorado Springs. She spent her first year and a half working with youth once again as a 6th grade reading para at Nevada Middle School.
Anna is excited to have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young children. Her life experiences have prepared her to teach, lead, guide, and direct young minds to reach their potential. She believes the words of Solomon who spoke saying "raise a child in the way they should go, and they will not stray from it." It is this belief that drives Anna to put her time and energy into giving the next generation hope that exists in receiving quality education.
Anna is the Children's Minister at Dederick Christian Church, where she ministers with her Husband, Jared, who is the preaching minister.
Dederick Pre-School enjoys the support of volunteer staff. Jared Kouba works hours at the Pre-School through out the week. It is also our mission to expose youth to the wide array of personalities and cultures. In light of that, we seek to bring in guest speakers and workers to interact with the youth at times.
All staff, volunteers, and guests have been screened by the Family Care Safety Registry and are authorized by the state of Missouri to work with children.
